ELIGIBILITY
AEPC is registered under section 8 of the Companies' Act 2013 and has two categories of Members: Member Exporter and Registered Exporter.
Any applicant, firm or society and/or Statutory Organization who is an exporter of garments whether manufacturer exporter or merchant exporter in the export and aims and objective of the council shall be eligible to be registered as a Registered Exporter of the Council.
HOW TO REGISTER
To become a member, the following documents, which are required under Foreign Trade Policy, may be submitted at any of the AEPC/ATDC offices.
AEPC has provided inestimable services to its members over the years.
As the world’s 4th largest producer of textile and garments, India’s garments exports totaled US$ 16.2 billion during FY 2018-19, giving an inevitable market share of 3.3%. The EU, USA, Middle East are India’s major markets.
The Industry proudly supports 12.90 million people as a part of its workforce, even today it is the second largest provider of employment in the country.
The Apparel sector contributes to 4.9% of India’s total exports.

AEPC Mission
A premiere hub in the South Asian region for International Trade in Apparel & Accessories. Apparel House is equipped with modern state-of-the-art infrastructure having international facility for business with Exhibition Hall, Art Gallery, Auditorium and Conference hall facility. Members take part in Council's various activities being organized at Apparel House Buyer-Seller Meets, Seminars/workshops on various industry related issues etc.
