Objective:-  The main purpose of this committee will be to discuss, deliberate emergent issues pertaining to Central/State matters concerning the garment export industries.  The Committee will advise Chairman on various crucial and legal matters pertaining to ministries such as Commerce, Finance and Textile etc. Another key responsibility will be to explore new areas of Resource Mobilization for AEPC

Objective:-  The committee will monitor and decide on various WTO matters, Foreign Trade Policy matter, deliberation on export targets, monitoring of market intelligence cell, promoting Brand India image for Indian Apparel, creating global alliances & networking, vendor connect programs, webinars and export facilitations. Educate members on the importance of Sustainability (ESG).  

The committee will also monitor and decide on various international/domestic fairs, delegations, buyer-seller meet, organizing of various seminars in the country, holding of export award function and to organize various events at Apparel House, Gurugram.

Objective:-   

·         To ensure accounts are maintained properly and audited promptly.

Objective of Committee 

·       To monitor the expenditure where any Government assistance under any scheme is provided to the Council.

Objective:-   To liaison with various State Governments and negotiate favourable terms for setting up industry in these regions and to take up matters relating to minimum wage, labour laws etc with concerned State Governments. 

8. Committee on Road Map for achieving Apparel Export of 40 Billion USD by 2030.

Objective:- The objective of the Committee is to suggest a comprehensive & actionable Road Map for scaling India’s apparel exports to USD 40 billion by the year 2030, by addressing structural constraints, enhancing global competitiveness, and leveraging emerging market opportunities. The Committee shall also recommend policy measures required to be proposed to the Government in support of this objective.

Note:- 

· Chairman, AEPC & Vice Chairman, AEPC will be the ex-officio member of all the Sub-Committees. 

· Secretary General of Council will be the ex-officio member of all the Sub-Committees.
